Seeing things…
Anyone who’s read the newsletter for long knows there are a lot of resources associated with it. And that I like to test new things and experiment.
So, what would you like to see here? What would make this site (not just the blog) more useful to you and your business?
Go mild or go wild. I don’t promise to use every suggestion, but I do promise to read them.
Fun is also allowed. ;)

Paul, I would appreciate some insight about changing marketing slant depending on country demographic.
As an example, we have a web site with country demographics of 34% India and 42% United States. The site has a newsletter and the newsletter’s demographics are 64% India and 13% United States. A big flipflop.
So it’s a bit of a conundrum for me. The site has visitors mostly from the United States, and also a good many from India. The newsletter, however, is mostly Indian.
When I started the newsletter a short 5 weeks ago, I expected to continue the site’s focus in the newsletter itself. Yet, with the huge India demographic, I’m now inclined to slant the newsletter specifically for an Indian audience.
The site in question is http://affinitynumerology.com/
Any insight regarding situations like this will be appreciated.
Will
Hi Paul,
Great to see the blog! I get your newsletter and I love it, so I’m looking forward to the blog!

Congrats on the new blog Paul! I look forward to reading the “stuff” in your new playground.
Just one question… where’s the RSS subscription? Oh… and maybe another… a list of latest posts in the sidebar?
Cheers
Stephen
Steven,
The RSS links are at the bottom of the page. I’ll have to see about a “Latest Posts” list. Not sure if I want to clutter up the sidebar that much.
Will,
Gonna have to think about that one a bit. There are a lot of ways it could be handled.
Teresa,
Thanks. I hope you find it useful.

Paul:
I’m confused - where’s the “Buy Paul a Beer” link?
Shayna
Shayna,
That’ll probably be added. ;)
Got a lot to add to this critter, but I knew I’d tinker with it endlessly if I didn’t get it public when I had the skeleton in place. There’ll be much more here than you see at most “blogs” before I’m done.

Hi Paul,
I’m afraid that your new blog will make me face yet another daily distraction…
And all that for free!! :)
Honestly, I’m just looking forward to reading your content and perspective on Internet Marketing. You have a great way of presenting extremely useful content. Underline useful.
I’d like to see you address listbuilding as well as conversions. But I know, what everr you post, I will enjoy your take on the IM world.
I’m glad I stumbled by. I will definitely be back.
Stay well,
albert grande
Hi Paul,
I’ve been reading your newsletters for awhile and have purchased a “few” things through your links - including PLF2.0. One of my obstacles to making use of all this great information is how to translate the “valuable” information that I have learned into topics and/or keywords that people would search.
I am not trying to find a market for my “product.” I am trying to find a market that already wants my “information” but I haven’t figured out how to put a label, title, market term, keyword, etc. on it such that I can start promoting.
Perhaps you could offer some insights or clarification on how to dig down from general topics, like personal development, financial strategies, or health recovery, to get to the specifics of exactly what people are wanting.
If this doesn’t make sense, you can understand why I’m stuck. Thanks much.
What’s a playground… and when do you think I might find some time to use it?
Oh, you mean a web-place.
In that case… my new “HowToLyceum.Net” might be a good place to start… or continue… or whatever.
Oh well… play hard!
(We’ll ALL be watching!)
Nick
Glad to see you blogging O’ Blackhatted One ;-)
Paul, the blog could use a good picture of you.
A series of issues discussing existing online businesses will be awesome. Find an answer to specific questions on how companies operate and make them an article. Also, great “old-rag” design.
Hi Paul,
How nice of you to have started this blog.
When I saw your newsletter this morning, (as usual it’s the first email I then open), I thought “Yes, he made my day”. Thank you for that.
A few years ago I was recommended to you by John Counsel and I can call myself a big fan of you now. I’m now learning to get the Internet into My Network Marketing.
I’m considering starting a blog myself but due to lack of confidence and fear of going wrong I am still “reading” about it and learning myself about what it takes to start a blog.
But I know that this procrastination thing is getting me nowhere.
Maybe now I can use your blog as my my example. And Just do it.
I have a question for you Paul:
Would you be willing to write about your experiences, if any, with the classic book by Napoleon Hill , “Think and Grow Rich”?
I wonder how many times you’ve read this book before you’ve got all the 12 principles one need to master before the Sixth sense (the 13th principle) can work for one and the law of abundance starts to manifest in one’s life?
As you can see for me it doesn’t manifest yet.LOL)
But I’m working on my mindset.
I hope you find this a different request than marketing. Something to think about and worth making some posts on the subject.
Deana Wilmink-Martina
Deana,
Another good book you may like is “The Motivated Mind” by Jason Gracia. You are not a procrastinator, simply motivated differently. Jason does a fabulous job of explaining motivation. We all have it, all of the time. It is how you perceive your desires and conquering your fears that really matters! You can find the book at his website http://www.motivation123.com
Good luck!
Bill
Will,
Hmmm. I’ll email you some questions, if you don’t mind, and maybe expand on your situation. I think a lot of people could learn from it.
Albert,
If it’s useful, I’m happy. A little entertainment just makes it more fun.
Bill,
Keyword research is a BIG topic, and one that I’m not yet an expert in. Let me see if I can find a reference for you that can help.
Nick,
Nice. Slip that plug in. ;)
Deana,
You are going to make mistakes. That’s a given, no matter how long you do this stuff. So why not get out there and do them now, and maybe make some money in the process.
Everyone screws up. It’s rarely fatal. As far as I know, no-one has ever been killed in a blogging accident. ;)
I’ll be doing some posts on mindset, certainly, but I doubt I’ll get too much into “Think and Grow Rich.” There is sooo much out there on the subject.
Paul
Hey Paul - ‘nother suggestion - can you make the comment box a little bigger please - make it easier for us verbose people to review what we have writ?
Stephen,
Better?
You should have seen the size of the original that came with this theme. It was TINY.
Paul
Hi Paul,
I hope you don’t mind me leaving a message for Bill Carrington here, as a reply to the message he left here for me on November 3.
Bill, Is it possible to leave a comment on your blog?
I’ve tried to register and logg in on your blog, but I didn’t succeed in doing so and the second time I’ve got the message that my name is already used, but I don’t get a password in my Inbox.
You recommened the book “The Motivated Mind” by Jason Gracia.
Are you sure this book (this title) is written by Jason Gracia and not by Dr. Raj Persuad? I can find the book but it is written by Dr. Raj Persuad.
I’ll leave my emailaddress here for you. I hope to soon have my own blog too.You can give me feedback on deanamartina@tiscali.nl if you want to.Then I don’t have to use Paul’s blog to communicate with you.
